We’ve always loved the food at CDJ and the atmosphere but we were left a little disappointed last night. The steaks were dry and the chips were undercooked, it was my partners birthday and there wasn’t an acknowledgment of this, despite me making them aware of this. The staff are all so lovely and can’t do enough but I did tell them about my disappointment but still paid for the overpriced meal. The food is usually amazing, the starters were beautiful but we were disappointed by the steaks.

Whenever we have friends over to visit The Whitchaff is always our go to... Becky and her team always make you feel very welcome. The menu is spot on with loadsa great sounding dishes and a really good variety. If that wasnt enough the specials are always great too. The food was wonderfully delicious as per. If you are in the area then a visit to The Whitchaff is a no brainer.

Was down visiting relatives and always go to verdes Always excellent food and value Atmosphere good and friendly helpful staff Only complaint is have to come back to eccleston(used to live there and now live in Scotland ) to experience verdes

Great atmosphere , amazing food and fantastic service!

Food was really lovely as was the venue & staff. If I had to be critical I’d just ask that the food was served at a slower pace and that we were given a little longer at the table! Otherwise enjoyed our evening

Griffin's Head. Pub had lovely atmosphere. Were quickly showed to table and drinks ordered. Waited quite a while for menus. When food arrived we were left with no cutlery or condiments. Had to go to bar to ask after waiting several minutes. Food was tasty. Hopefully service will improve with time.

Food was very good but potions a bit on the small side for us. It was very noisy as there was a large birthday party in but obviously not Quattros fault. But on saying that the service wasn't too bad for a busy Saturday night.

Had breakfast and it was beautiful.staff friendly . They went above and beyond as it was a birthday celebration and they put a banner on the table and at the end brought a cake and sang happy birthday. Lovely touch wasn't expecting that so was very happy. Thankyou see you soon

Delicious Italian food, with attentive friendly service, and value for money!

First time at the Lunesdale Arms, had driven by it earlier in the week… What a fantastic experience. Easy for booking a table for dinner (for2) Great menu and drinks selection, a really well presented restaurant in a lovely setting, really pleasant welcoming staff and the food was simply lovely. Only disappointment was on us! After starter and main each we were simply too full to take advantage of the fantastic looking desserts board…. Have to say it’s one of the best mix grills I have had - everything was perfectly cooked and decent cuts - the Spanish Hash starter was AMAZING (Chorizo, potato’s and black pudding with a delightful egg to top.) The Prawns and dipping bread sides were also ordered as a starter and they didn’t let us down. Chicken Cesar salad was delicious and huge so probably didn’t need the side of fries! Will definitely go again.

Love the Lunesdale ! The food, atmosphere and service is excellent. Great value.
