Papa Luigis – ChorleyFaultless! Absolutely superb Sunday dinner! The beef just fell apart and melted in my mouth!
Bread and Butter – PrestonStarters -crab and avocado, and ribs were delicious. Sea bass and fried zucchini and penne arrabiata for mains yummy. Great service and wine to match. Thank you.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWe are frequent visitors and everything is always top class, highly recommend.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleAs always, we got very good service and the food was good.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkMe and my family enjoyed a delicious Sunday carvery! Staff were very friendly and welcoming too. Definitely will be returning
The Plough Inn – OrmskirkHave eaten here many times and have always enjoyed both the food and experience. On this occasion we came for Sunday lunch. I opted for the Roast Beef but unfortunately the beef was grisly and chewy, making it difficult to eat. The waitress kindly agreed to change it but the 2nd plate was not much better. Disappointing but we will be back as not experienced this previously.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleOverall a nice enough visit; the service was great and fab Malbec on offer, but overall was a bit disappointing - particularly with the portion sizes. I had the Steak, Garlic Mushroom & Stilton Ciabatta - and being honest, I expected more for almost £13. I guess that's an indication of the times - shrinkflation !!! We don't have young kids any more so we always ask for a table in the main pub and not in the family dining room. Sadly, there was a manic toddler constantly running in & out of the dining area and around the whole pub, which was irritating, - but that's not down to the venue !!! Overall average.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallSam and all the staff are fantastic every time we go and it was the same again. Food was the same every course we had was superb. Still is our favourite restaurant and can’t see it changing.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWent for Sunday lunch. Great choice of dishes, huge portions and hot, delicious food. Lovely staff and a beautiful building. Great value for money. A couple of dishes took a little bit longer than the Sunday lunches, but this didn’t affect our enjoyment at all.
The Plough At Eaves – PrestonLovely food and good service. A nice place for brunch and lunch. Have visited a number if times and not been disappointed.
Bread and Butter – PrestonA lovely friendly pub with good quality food.
The Traders Arms – BlackburnLovely meal and service. Would visit again. Good choice of menu.
The Traders Arms – BlackburnQuattro’s is one of my favourite places to eat regularly. Lovely layout, staff friendly n helpful and food great no matter what you have. I have had many of the meals from pasta dishes to lamb cutlets or steak. Desserts delicious!!
Quattro’s – OrmskirkExcellent food and service as always highly recommend
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeThe Whitchaff seems to be a victim of its own success. Two of us went there last Friday evening( 16/12026).It was very busy which for a dark cold January night is very good. The initial attention to take our order was as normal. But then it all went wrong. We got served our starters with no cutlery and had to ask the very busy staff.I then got served my main course. But no sign of my wifes main course. After fifteen minutes of waiting we had to ask again a very busy member of staff for my wifes main course. The staff did seem harassed. When it turned up it was about half of the portion of the same meal that we had eaten ( midweek) approx two weeks ago and barely warm. The staff were only young. We felt a bit sorry for them.So we just paid and left.Would we go again...yes.But def only midweek.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallLovely 1st visit , the food was gorgeous the service / staff excellent, I had asked them to give us nice table for my husbands birthday - they put us in the smaller room and that was perfect. Altogether enjoyed the experience and we will go back
Quattro’s – OrmskirkA lovely place! Always a warm welcome, Lovely drinks and perfect pizza! 10/10
