Rawtensall is lucky to have this place which is in an old bank building. Went Friday and the place was buzzing so clearly popular. Food was great with the service even better. We all felt really looked after. Highly recommended.

Excellent food and every staff member was fab!

Four of us came for lunch on 22/1/2926. We have been quite a few times before and had no complaints. However in this occasion we found the service a bit poor. Had to go and ask for a sweet menu and some drinks. I asked if they were short staffed but told no they were just very busy with no apology. I had two courses from the set menu. The sweet was a very small sliver of bakewell tart and the custard was cold. Not good value at all

Enjoyed a quiet lunch with a friend. We chose from the lunch menu , fish and chips, it was nicely cooked and presented and the portion was good

We always enjoy our visits to the Lunesdale Arms. The restaurant is attractive and comfortable, the food is delicious, and service excellent. Choice of dishes was good, and value for money excellent.

We thoroughly enjoyed our food which was served lovely and hot by very friendly staff. It was slightly disappointing that we had to ask for our side of fries 3 times and our 2nd round of drinks twice before we were served them

Fabulous lunch yesterday and yet again absolutely no complaints whatsoever! The customer service is exemplary and the food delicious. The servings are plentiful and yet again some came home as I couldn’t finish it. Can’t wait to return.

This was our first, but not the last visit to Bread and Butter. I'm not sure why I booked but was very glad I did because it was packed. Probably a reflection of the excellent food. However this contributed to one of my two niggles. It was very noisy consequently it was difficult to talk. My other niggle was the cost of the bottle of Coke which at £4 ish was pretty dreadful. But that's it. Food great, want to try more dishes, and the waitresses were brilliant. Friendly and efficient despite the very busy workload. We definitely plan to go back.

Extremely welcoming and helpful staff. Meal portions were epic. Service exceptional. Value for money spot on. Would not hesitate to recommend Papa Louigis.
