Visited for lunch on a Friday. An excellent choice on menu and Special Board. Prices reasonable with good choice of beers. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Efficient and quick service. Long since we visited but will definitely go back again.

Visited for lunch…not been for a few years but still a welcoming place to eat…beautiful setting next to the river…very reasonable lunch menu…everything served quickly and all great quality…£90 inc drinks and tip is a bargain for 4 people these days…we’ll be back sooner than last time…

Bought the Smokehouse Afternoon Tea for my son but nabbed it for myself and husband. Food was great but for my own personal taste the BBQ glaze was a bit strong for me but the hubby really liked it. The brownie and the tart were really delicious but tiny. We ordered seasoned chops with ours for an extra £5 but they were really tasty and a good sized portion. Max welcomed, took orders and served the meal and drinks and was exceptionally helpful… top marks for Max.

The service was very good and prompt, having enjoyed the gammon previously disappointed it was very salty this time the other meals were fine.

Looked after very well would definitely use the restaurant again

Booked afternoon tea here with my best friend. After having to postpone several times we finally got here. The service was excellent. No waiting around, very pleasant staff, one even treating us to a bit of a jig to the varied music that was playing! The food was prompt, well presented, plenty of it and all very tasty! Would definitely recommend it. We'll certainly be coming again!

20/02 had a pleasant lunch on a visit to Ironbridge, staff friendly and polite. Nice food good variety. Nicely decorated quite busy. Would visit again. Thank you.

Had an afternoon tea and it was lovely for the most part, staff were great and very attentive. The meat was very nice. The small tarts weren’t very nice but my partner loved the scones and I gave him mine. It was good value for money though. Lovely bar and eating area. The only thing that let it down was the state of the toilets. Missing/broken fixtures , big clumps of plaster missing on the walls and tiles and lots of cobwebs. Considering how nice this place is, it’s a shame. The windows were filthy too. Great setting

Nice pub with friendly helpful staff. Very basic Sunday lunch. £40 for a 2 person sharing board very expensive for what it was. Felt like the food had been hanging around for a few days.

Came here to say for my birthday meal there were 11 of us and the customer service was brilliant. Food was great. Will definitely be back

Had a lovely meal with good service and we were made to feel very welcome. However, it always puts me off returning to a place when a service charge is automatically added to the bill without being clearly mentioned. If I choose to leave a tip, I would prefer that it be my decision rather than something assumed.

We had a meal on 17th February. The food was fine, but the waiting time was too long, around 40 minutes. The restaurant was not busy, so I'm not sure why it took so long. On the upside, we had another drink in the small bar afterwards, and had a really interesting chat with the waitress (Manager?), who was so informative and entertaining about living and working in Ironbridge. Her contribution really made the evening for us.

Had a 1.5k tomahawk - majority of the weight was with the bone (should be cut down the the steak IMO) as we were paying per 100g and most of that weight was what we couldnt eat. Prawns were listed as ‘jumbo’ but we got 4 tiny pawns for £14 And the bread was frozen oven bread with 0 flavour / variety. Fried chicken was fabulous though! So were the chips. Staff were attentive but didnt ask how we wanted out £130 steak cooked. It was cooked on a griddle and exterior looked anaemic / slimy had 0 char.

We fir an afternoon tea, which was a Christmas present. Staffordshire couldn't be more helpful. Sat us at our table, gave us the menu to look at, to see if we required any extras. Food came in good time both main and sweets. Very enjoyable visit. BDud not feeling rushed in any way.

A great vibe, good drinks and good range of food to choose from. Jess was really helpful letting us know what would be more spicy and what combinations to order. Really good as we had a GF vegan and she actually had choice for what she could eat!
