Sunday lunch was excellent. Wonderful tender meat and perfectly cooked vegetables and tasty gravy. All servered hot. Service was very good . Manager Ash was very attentive to our requirements . We had a lovely time.

We had a delicious meal. Our booking was put back by half an hour because an earlier booking had arrived very late. While this was a little frustrating, the man who called me was very apologetic and the meal was worth waiting for.

This was our third visit here. As always, the food, ambiance and the staff were all excellent. The restaurant itself is small but lovely and the lighting perfect. If I was to be OVER critical, a little more time between courses would have been good, but that really is being over critical!! Will we be back - most definitely!!

We arrived for 6 o clock booking Friday.. promptly shown to table by friendly staff. Ordered drinks while perusing menu...wow interesting varied choice cater all types tastes...I chose paella partner sea food pasta..both arrived with in reasonable time and simply superb generous portions...my paella loads shellfish...chorizo chicken my partner said same about his...had enough room for pudding (just) apple pie full of apple not too much pastry and my peach melba divine....excellent service...food cost £60 with drinks...really enjoyed our meal will return.

Warm atmosphere, delicious food, prompt service.

After many very good meals, this time we were disappointed with our choice. I picked the Pork Belly, after twice seeing that my wife had selected it with a nice layer of crackling, but what I received was not good. The layer of cracking was mushy and raw. I sent it back ,and when it returned , it was just cremated but still as mushy. For our stater we ordered the Dirty Nachos, but the wasn’t a Jalapeño to be seen. We also ordered a side of Slaw, which did not arrive but was on the final bill? On leaving we were given a voucher for selected weekdays in January??? We were there on a Friday. I do hope this is just a blip, as we regularly eat at the Tilley and hope that this can continue.

Food and service was excellent, lovely location

Celebrated a birthday this week at the Malthouse adults and a very active 3yr old!. Food and service was excellent, wish I had asked the waitress's name to give her a shout out. Will be going back again.

Absolutely fantastic food! Amazing that it is all GF, as have a celiac and it was great that he could eat everything! Great service too!

Had supper there and the food was good and so was the service. Just a bit of an issue when it came to the bill. We were charged for everyone having the meal deal and we didnt. So just check your bill properly before paying. The mistake was rectified the next day. We will go back there again for a meal.

Great location and lovely old pub. Food was very good and plenty of it, but not overloaded. Service was excellent with plenty of cheerful chat from lovely friendly waiting staff. Would definitely recommend. Only marked down slightly on atmosphere because the eating area was quite quiet.
