Garstang Country Hotel & Golf Club

1 photo
The Garstang Country Hotel & Golf Club has amongst many other facilities a restaurant called the Kingfisher. It’s so named due to a family of the aforementioned birds living in the vicinity. The restaurant enjoys fantastic views out over the hotel’s golf course and is bright and airy. The traditional British food is created by a new award-winning chef and it’s fine dining in style without the stuffiness or formality. All the food is locally sourced and the menu tells you exactly where the ingredients come from. Unsurprisingly, given that the owners were originally farmers, the portions are hearty and generous. The hotel has 32 ensuite rooms and has gained three AA stars. Functions can be catered for in various sizes of rooms and for those who enjoy a game of golf, it’s the perfect place to stay or dine. ...more information

La Mezzaluna

With its stunning sea views out over the Irish Sea, La Mezzaluna is the jewel in the crown of Cleveleys' The Venue, a striking, white, art-decoish block that sits squat and isolated on the Cleveleys seafront. Food at La Mezzaluna is Italian/Mediterranean and the restaurant is open six nights a week and for Sunday lunch. La Mezzaluna does jazz nights too. ...more information

It’s also a got very loyal local customer base, due in no short measure to the top quality service and food. Parties are catered to in the upstairs function room and parking is free on the disabled bays outside after 6pm. ...more information
