Excellent Sunday lunch Attentive and great food
The Golden Ball Inn – TelfordA lovely Sunday lunch in a busy pub! Great value in these more expensive times. Well worth a visit and we'll be going again!
The Golden Ball Inn – TelfordWe had been meaning to visit Suree's for a long time and so we thought now was the perfect time to beat the January blues. We had a fantastic 3-course meal on a Saturday evening. The service was fast and friendly and every course was delicious and well-presented. Drinks come from the pub next door so a great selection. Would highly recommend.
Suree’s Kitchen – IronbridgeDisappointing. Food very average, chips so greasy the oil was in a pool at the bottom of the dish, meat bland. No atmosphere at all and very cold. Toilets filthy despite just opening for lunch. Shame as we were looking forward to this for ages, the food looked nothing like on the social media pages
The Underground – ShrewsburyFirst class service . Especially the young lady serving us. She is an absolute credit to your establishment . Food was lovely
Water Rat – IronbridgeThe restaurant is in a lovely setting and decor is cute for light bites and cocktails. The service was incredibly slow though and it wasn't during a busy period so no excuses really. Food was average and lukewarm. The messy fries were a disappointment and definitely not worth the money that we paid for them. Cocktails were lovely. Very underwhelmed by the experience.
The Underground – Shrewsbury1st time visit to the lovely Elephant Crossing in IronBridge and it was absolutely amazing, fantastic atmosphere great service and unbelievably amazing food. Cocktails and Sangria were fantastic and the choice of dishes for Vegetarian or Vegan diets was fabulous. Will definitely be back on our next visit and maybe even squeeze in a visit to Shrewsbury to pop into the sister restaurant as well.
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeI booked for my daughters 18th weeks in advance, specifically asking for the back room. An email back said this was fine. Four days before our reservation I got a phone call stating we'd been moved for a bigger table, but due to short notice nothing I could do. Girl on the phone was quite dismissive and more concerned with who'd emailed me, rather than our inconvenience. Food on the night was absolutely amazing and couldn't fault it. The waiter, was very friendly and helpful, and couldn't do enough for us. However, some of the waitresses were not as welcoming . Would still eat there again, as food very nice
The Malthouse – TelfordWe had a great evening last night with friends at Rib eye. The food for all 4 of us was absolutely stunning, the quality ,tenderness and taste of all Steaks was up there with some of our best Steaks. Service with very friendly staff was lovely. Good to chat with the owner afterwards. We will definitely be back, all the best with the business Great to have an independent Steak Restaurant in Shrewsbury.
The Gate – ShrewsburyVisited The Smoky Cow on recommendation from a work colleague. It was well worth the visit, pleasant staff, nice beer and superb food. Definitely coming back Really enjoyed the visit See you soon
