Family of 5 enjoyed our visit recently, some desserts off the menu and missing meats from the sunday roast but that didnt stop us enjoying the food. Recommended and will visit again.

Griffins Head Bar and Grill – AccringtonFabulous food, staff, service and atmosphere
Rileys Loft – ChorleyHad a wonderful Sunday dinner. The food and service was excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great pub to eat at.
The Dog Inn – BlackburnThe food and most of the staff were lovely, especially Nerino, who was really kind and welcoming. Unfortunately, one waitress came across quite rude and judgmental during our visit. I asked how to use the salt and pepper grinder and accidentally spilled some salt while trying it, and her reaction and tone made me feel quite uncomfortable. I also forgot my phone when leaving and felt the same attitude again. It’s a shame because otherwise we had a lovely experience.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkBrilliant staff really go out of there way for you , & Food was amazing definitely visit again
The Dog Inn – BlackburnFabulous proper country pub. Great menu choice and great food especially the pies and Sunday roast! Good beers on draught and a lovely choice of wines. Real fires in the winter and a lovely beer garden in the summer with a play area for kids. All set in a stunning location. The staff are warm friendly and attentive. The pub itself is spotlessly clean. What’s not to love?! It obviously has superb managers / owners because in a tough industry they’re doing a blooming great job. Highly recommended.
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenEverything excellent as always.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkI booked a late Sunday meal - 7:15 - for me and my husband. Our food was lovely: I had a starter of some sort of spicy chicken and a Greek salad with chips; he ordered a panini with chips. The food came promptly, despite the restaurant being busy with a couple of big tables. Initially we were on a table next to a big party. When one of the arm chair tables came free, I asked if we could move - not a problem. I ordered a rose blush wine. When it came, I'd been given a white wine instead. We were served the right wine and then asked if we wanted to keep the white wine too. Customer service at its finest! Although we were one amongst the last people to leave, we weren't made to feel rushed into going.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallFabulous Sunday lunch. Beef was cooked perfectly. Lovely selection of vegetables, mash and roast potatoes. Great atmosphere. Always a great welcome from the staff at this community pub.
The Dog Inn – BlackburnAmazing food and lovely service. We hadn’t been for ages but we’ll definitely be back soon. I had the roast beef and my veggie wife had the cheese pie. Both were completely delicious, copious and reasonably priced. The cheese pie wasn’t stuffed with potato as they so often are. Just cheese and onion. There is a dog-friendly area which is a lovely spot with a restaurant- ( not bar) feel. Boo the dog enjoyed herself too. Thanks to everyone there.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleAlways a favourite venue for our family. Menu varied but always delicious. Staff welcoming and helpful. Thank you.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyAs always, excellent food, excellent service and a lovely atmosphere.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyPerfect Sunday roast, so much food did not have the sticky toffee pudding just no room for it
The Traders Arms – BlackburnBrilliant food and staff , love this place , my favourite ❤️
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyBooked a rare Sunday lunch for two after hearing rave reviews. Sadly, our experience wasn't up to standard. After being shown to our table, we had to wait over 10 minutes before being offered a drink. We were told that the roast beef was no longer available (although there was an hour & a half to go before the food service ended). The kitchen managed to produce one beef after all & my husband had the pork. We agreed that both our dishes were of average quality & certainly nothing special. Both dishes were spoilt by too thick & unpleasant gravy/sauce. Disappointing all round I'm afraid.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleLovely place , delicious food , a little over priced so probably wouldn’t go as much as I would like to , service was good although one of the drinks we ordered didn’t arrive , that said I would highly recommend
Quattro’s – OrmskirkAs always a great meal.never disappointing Great ambience and service
Quattro’s – OrmskirkThe food was delicious. The only slight problem was the steak and lamb dishes could have been hotter as the meat was warm at best. Was still a good dining experience
