Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleIt’s been a long time since we last visited Verdes. For no other reason sometimes places go off your radar. Anyway first the place is stunning and very comfortable. There’s a great atmosphere as a Sunday evening can be a bit hit and miss. The food was excellent ranging from amazing chicken livers, pasta dish, Sunday beef dinner and a pizza. All very delicious. Won’t be a long next time.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyExcellent evening with friends, well looked after, lovely food professional service. Guests from the South Coast could not believe how fabulous a restaurant in the village was.

3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeMet up with friends over lunch yesterday. Great value and varied choices on menu, we all loved the different sandwiches we chose: prawn, coronation chicken and ham. Service was excellent, prompt, polite and professional, whilst being friendly. Will be back again.
Bread and Butter – PrestonAbsolutely amazing meal at Toms Table. The food was outstanding as was the service. Great to have such a top quality restaurant in Clitheroe. It’s a hidden gem.
Toms Table – ClitheroeBeen wanting to go here since they finished the refurbishment. It was well worth waiting for. The food was delicious - we had two courses from the Specials menu and one from the standard menu. All were delicious and served promptly. Looking forward to going again.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallI was down visiting my elderly mum (93) in Bacup. I wanted to take her for a lunch in a country pub. The views at the Shepherds rest are stunning so we booked there. The food was wonderful. We had a huge fish & chips with glorious beer batter. Service was very quick. I had the alcohol free lager which was really nice. Mum wanted a dessert so we had a lovely cheesecake & icecream. It was a very relaxed atmosphere with gorgeous views and I would definitely recommend it. Mum told me she thought the price was reasonable & we were so full we couldn’t eat anything later.

Bread and Butter – PrestonWent on Friday evening at 6.30. Food was lovely, as always, but it was very busy and service was not as good as it usually is. Was also very noisy as tables are a little close to each other so was difficult for conversation! However, we have been many times before and will do again as we do like Verdis, hopefully we will return at a less busy time.
