The Queens Head – OswestryGood menu, good food, good service
The Queens Head – OswestryWhat a little gem this place is! 4 friends went here for the first time on an October Wednesday lunch time. No, you know that, if a pub restaurant is pretty busy on an out of season Wednesday lunchtime, it's probably good. We were not disappointed. The food is simply top notch. Between us we had the steak and ale pie, mushroom risotto, roast duck and the paella. All dishes were absolutely perfect. Mine was the paella and it's probably the best I have ever eaten. Loads of shellfish and all perfectly cooked. We will definitely be back!
The Queens Head – OswestryFabulous venue and food! Superb location near the Iron Bridge and the service & food was excellent. Would also like to mention the hotel - this was equally as good!
The White Hart – IronbridgeAbsolutely lovely little place. Very quirky. Staff very friendly. We went for breakfast. Had their brunch menu. Pancakes were amazing. With being Coeliac I must have gluten free. Loads of choice! We had to stop looking at the menu because everytime we did, we changed our minds. The menu was fabulous. We will definitely return.
The Gate – ShrewsburyI have visited previously and always enjoyed - on this occasion, the service was a bit slower, but accepted this due it being a Saturday night. The food was very slow to come out (from first dish to last dish we waited approximately half an hour for all of the food to come out to us) but management discounted the bill when asked, which was greatly received. The food was good (albeit some of it was cold) but still very tasty. Overall a good experience.
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeExcellent meal and service. Very generous portions for all meals. Fresh ingredients and lots of flavour. Excellent value for money. There were 8 in our party and all loved our meals.
The Queens Head – OswestryThe Queens Head is our 'go to' for a roast. They offer children's, small or normal portions and this is perfect for our family. Its always so tasty and you can tell it is home cooked. The staff are always friendly and efficient. Wouldn't go anywhere else for good food and value for money.
The Queens Head – OswestryWe had an excellent meal on Sunday 5th October. We all enjoyed our meals immensely and thought that they were great value for money. The service was excellent and all the staff were helpful, polite and friendly. A special mention to the chef as the soup of day was the best soup I think I’ve ever tasted.

Suree’s Kitchen – IronbridgeBeen there a few times and never disappointed. Small, cosy, restaurant with a friendly atmosphere and very good service. The food is the star of the show - absolutely superb. Can’t recommend Suree’s enough, a special place
Suree’s Kitchen – IronbridgeDidn’t like the food, no seasoning and very sweet/salty. Cold food as well.
Suree’s Kitchen – IronbridgeFriendly service, gorgeous food and a lovely setting. Only criticism would be was lack of some options on the menu.
